Homework: Thursday, October 22nd

Homework:  Complete question #1 on your POINT OF VIEW Worksheet.  For help, look below.

Today we learned about Point of View.  The definitions we learned are listed below:

POINT OF VIEW:  Who is telling the story.

First Person: The story is being told by a character in the story.

We can tell it is first person when the character uses “I” and “me” phrases.

Third Person Limited: The story is being told by a narrator who is not a character in the story.

The narrator has limited knowledge of the characters in the story.

Can’t tell what characters are thinking inside their heads.

Third Person Omniscient: The story is being told by a narrator who is not a character in the story.

However, the narrator knows everything, including what the characters are thinking and feeling.
