1. Assignment: Write a Short Scene between Lennie and George about one of the following topics:
· Lennie wants to know why the sun shines
· Lennie wants to know if they can get a pet monkey to come along with them on their adventures.
· Lennie fell in the water when they were walking by the creek.
· Lennie wants George to tell him a story.
If you don’t want to use one of these options feel free to come up with your own subject of conversation between the two characters.
· Must be at least 17 speaking parts or at least 1-1 ½ pages long. Extra credit will be given for going longer than a page.
· You should try to use the type of TONE and LANGUAGE that George and Lennie would use when you write your dialogue.
