1.
a. I think Curley's wife is an example of lonliness because, I think since she is the only girl on the ranch I think that maybe she is now bored and is looking to seek to other things.
b. I think Lennie was kinda lonely in the beginning of the story because he kept destroying his mice and then George kept taking the mice from him and he didn't have nothing but now he has a dog and lets see how far he get in the story with him.
c. Slim is an example of lonely now because he has just loss his dog, Candy took the dog out because he/she was really old.
d. George in the begginning of the story was kind of lonley because when Lennie was like I can leave if you want me to and George, was like No dont leave or something like that.
2.
a. George is protected by Lennie. Example when George was about to get that job at the ranch he was saying like "With lennie by my side you really would want to mess with me".
b. When in the part of the story that we read today when Slim dog had to be killed at first Slim was saying no I dont want my dog to be shot in all that. But then he was convinced on letting his dog be killed.
c. Curlely is being over protective over his wife like, when Lennie and George got to the ranch Curely was saying that he is a "Lightweight" and all that and he was approaching Lennie starting trouble, because he wanted to show that he was tought and all and that he did not want anybody talkin to his girlfriend/wife.
d. Lastly I think that maybe Lennie was protecting his mouse that George kept throwing away. Example: When Lennie went to go get it from across the late he was just trying to, protect his.... Dead Mouse.
3.
a. George he normally talks in a real tough mean tone.. Like he is one of those sarcastic or hype people.
b. Lennie always talks in not a retarded voice but he speaks slow and he has low vocab like that kind of tone.
c. Curely talks like he is the boss of everything everytime he comes up in the story according to the movie he has that real tough voice and thing he runs stuff.. Kinda like George just george does not think he is all that like Curely does.
d. Lastely Slim has one of those tones of one of those old people who tells storys all day. Or like one of those bored people. According to the movie he is a old man with a old dog. Which now in the book supposedly got killed.
